نه به جنگ، نه به جمهوری اسلامی، نه به دولت اشغالگر اسرائیل، نه به بدیلسازی از بالا!
ما، جمعی از کنشگران سیاسی مستقل، جنگی که با حملهی ارتش اسرائیل در بامداد جمعه ۲۳ خرداد ۱۴۰۴ (۱۳ ژوئن ۲۰۲۵) به ایران آغاز شد را تجاوزگرانه و وحشیانه میدانیم و آن را محکوم میکنیم. این جنگ، پیامد تلاقی دو رژیم ارتجاعی است:
از یکسو جمهوری اسلامی، رژیمی متزلزل و فروپاشیده که بر پایهی سرکوب داخلی، ماجراجویی منطقهای، و توهم بازدارندگی هستهای شکل گرفته، و از سوی دیگر دولت اشغالگر، نسلکش و توسعهطلب اسرائیل که به پشتوانهی آمریکا و متحدان غربیاش، طرح بازترسیم جغرافیای سیاسی خاورمیانه را دنبال میکند. بنابراین، این جنگیست میان دو ماشین مرگ: یکی مروج کیش فقر، سرکوب و اقتدارگرایی اسلامی، دیگری پرچمدار اشغال و تجاوزگری.
اسرائیل، با حملهی نظامی به ایران، بار دیگر چهرهی واقعی خود را بهعنوان دولتی استثناگرا و بحرانزی آشکار کرد؛ دولتی که از آغاز، بر مبنای پروژهی دولت-ملتسازی نژادی و مذهبی و با کشتار و آوارهسازی گستردهی فلسطینیان بنا شد، و امروز بقایش را در سایهی جنگطلبی، اشغالگری و نسلکشی تثبیت میکند. این تجاوز نظامی، نقض صریح قوانین بینالمللی و منشور سازمان ملل است، و تنها بهواسطهی حمایت بیقید و شرط آمریکا و همراهی قدرتهای غربی ممکن شده است.
در مقابل، رژیم جمهوری اسلامی قرار دارد، که مشروعیت سیاسی، اجتماعی و حتی دفاعیاش را از دست داده است. این رژیم، پس از سالها سرکوب خونین مردم و سرمایهگذاری سنگین در پروژههای هستهای و شبهنظامی، در جریان جنگ جاری، زیرساختهای نظامیاش درهم شکستهاند، فرماندهانش کشته شدهاند، و نه متحدی جدی دارد که به او کمک کند، نه توان واکنش مستقل.
از سوی دیگر، حاکمیت برای سرپوش گذاشتن بر شکست خود، دست به دامن قطع گستردهی اینترنت و روایتسازی ایدئولوژیک از جنگ توسط بازوهای پروپاگاندای خود شده است. دستگاههای حاکمیت، همزمان با ناتوانی در مدیریت بحران جنگ، میکوشند با برانگیختن احساسات ناسیونالیستی، خود را در مقام مدافع «خاک وطن» بنشانند. حقیقت اما این است که این رژیم، سالهاست که مردم را از خاکشان آواره، و مخالفانش را قلع و قمع و اعدام کرده، و منابع کشور را جهت پروژههای مرگبار منطقهای خود خرج کرده، و زیست هرروزهی انسانها را در ایران به مرز فروپاشی رسانده است.
به نظر میرسد خطری عمیقتر از خود جنگ در راه است: تلاش برای تحمیل یک نظم سیاسی و امنیتی جدید، نه از دل کنش تودهها، بلکه از بالا و به دست قدرتهای خارجی. پروژهی تغییر رژیم با بمباران –که توسط اسرائیل، آمریکا و بخشی از اپوزیسیون دست راستی دنبال میشود– همان نسخهایست که پیشتر در عراق، لیبی، و افغانستان دیدیم: ویرانی زیرساختها، خالی شدن قدرت به نفع نیروهای ارتجاعی، و بازتولید چرخهی فلاکت، فساد و استثمار.
بدینترتیب، با صدای بلند اعلام میکنیم:
ما از میان دو ارتجاع، یکی را انتخاب نخواهیم کرد!
نه جمهوری اسلامی نمایندهی ماست، و نه اسرائیل نجاتبخش وضعیت کنونی ایران است.
نه ولایت فقیه، نه پروژهی مهندسیشدهی رژیمچنج. نه ماشین سرکوب داخلی، نه بمبارانهای دولتهای خارجی.
ما بر این باوریم که ادامهی این جنگ، و ادامهی بقای جمهوری اسلامی، دو روی یک سکهاند. یکی مردم را نابود میکند تا بماند، دیگری مردم را نابود میکند تا بدیلهای ارتجاعی بسازد. در چنین شرایطی، تنها راه توقف جنگ و جلوگیری از تحمیل این پروژهها، خلع قدرت جمهوری اسلامی از پایین و به دست مردم است. پیش از آنکه ایران به ویرانهای بدل شود، پیش از آنکه تصمیمگیری، کاملا به واشنگتن، تلآویو و اپوزیسیون دستراستی سپرده شود، قدرت باید به اکثریت مردم ایران بازگردد: زنان، کارگران، زحمتکشان، جوانان، دگرباشان جنسیتی، فرودستان، و گروههای ملی سرکوبشده در کشور.
ما خواهان آنیم که:
- رژیم جمهوری اسلامی سرنگون شود و قدرت به ارادهی آزاد و مستقیم مردم بازگردد؛ نه از طریق ادامهی مداخلهی خارجی، بلکه بهواسطهی خیزش آگاهانه و سازمانیافتهی مردمی از پایین.
- پروژهی بدیلسازی از بالا، و تحمیل چهرههایی چون رضا پهلوی، مریم رجوی و دیگر فیگورهای دستدوم قدرتهای غربی، با مقاومت وسیع مردمی مواجه شود.
- از هرگونه اتکا به بمباران، لشکرکشی خارجی، و سناریوهای نجاتبخشی بهدست دول خارجی پرهیز شود، چرا که این مسیرها بهجای رهایی، به بازتولید ستم، سلطهگری، و اشغال خواهند انجامید.
- مبارزه برای سرنگونی جمهوری اسلامی در پیوند با سازماندهی نیروهای مردمی، شوراها، اتحادیههای کارگری، جنبشهای محلی، و پیوند میان مطالبات طبقاتی، جنسیتی، محیطزیستی، ملی و نسلی شکل گیرد تا از هر نوع قبضهی قدرت توسط نیروهای بدیلساز جلوگیری شود.

Statement of the New Left Collective on the Iran-Israel War
No to war, no to the Islamic Republic, no to the Israeli occupying state, no to top-down regime change!
We, a group of independent political activists, declare that the war that began with the aggressive and brutal attack by the Israeli army on Iranian soil on Friday, 13 June 2025, is a reactionary war. It is the outcome of a clash between two regressive regimes: on the one hand, the collapsing regime of the Islamic Republic, founded on internal repression and regional adventurism, and on the other, the occupying, genocidal, and expansionist state of Israel, backed by the US and Western allies, which seeks to redraw the geopolitical map of the Middle East. One promotes a cult of poverty, repression, and authoritarianism — the Islamic Republic; the other, a machine of occupation and aggression — Israel.
With its military assault on Iran, Israel once again revealed its true face as an exceptionalist state mired in crisis, a state founded on the racialised project of ethno-national statehood, born out of the colonial massacre and displacement of Palestinians, now seeking its survival through war and occupation. This act of aggression is a clear violation of international law and the UN Charter, made possible only through Western complicity, unconditional US support, and the shameful silence of many global powers.
The regime of the Islamic Republic, meanwhile, has lost even the political, social, and defensive legitimacy it once claimed. After years of bloody repression, the squandering of public resources on nuclear programmes, and the construction of a massive security apparatus, the regime has emerged from this war shattered — its military infrastructure destroyed, its commanders killed, and its forces demoralised. It now neither has the capacity for an independent response nor serious allies to support it.
At the same time, the Islamic regime, in an effort to cover up its defeat, has resorted to widespread internet shutdowns and to constructing an ideological narrative of the war through its propaganda apparatuses, attempting to portray itself as a national defender and a competent crisis manager. It seeks to stir nationalist sentiments, claiming to be the guardian of the “motherland” — the same regime that for decades has crushed its opposition, executed dissidents, plundered the country’s resources for its own projects of death, and driven everyday life and humanity in Iran to the brink of collapse.
But darker than war itself looms the danger of a top-down imposed order: the replacement of the regime not through grassroots widespread uprising, but by a new foreign-backed power structure. A project of regime-change not from below, but from Tel Aviv, Washington, and by the help of the right-wing opposition — the same model we’ve seen before, from Iraq to Afghanistan: the destruction of infrastructure, the empowerment of reactionary forces, and the reproduction of cycles of exploitation, poverty, and corruption.
We therefore declare loudly and clearly:
We will not choose between two reactionary poles!
Neither the Islamic Republic nor Israel represents salvation for the people of Iran.
Neither Islamic fundamentalism nor top-down regime engineering, neither internal despotism nor foreign military intervention.
We believe that this war and the survival of the Islamic Republic are two sides of the same coin: one crushes the people to prolong its rule; the other annihilates them to pave the way for reactionary replacements. In such a situation, the only way to stop the war and prevent the imposition of these projects is the dismantling of the Islamic Republic from below, by the people themselves. Before Iran is reduced to rubble, before decisions are handed entirely to Washington, Tel Aviv, and the right-wing opposition, power must be returned to the majority of the Iranian people: women, workers, youth, queer and gender-nonconforming communities, the oppressed, and marginalised national groups across the country.
We call for:
- The overthrow of the Islamic Republic and the restoration of power to the free and direct will of the people — not through continued foreign intervention, but through an organised and conscious uprising from below.
- Mass popular resistance against top-down regime replacement — including the imposition of figures like Reza Pahlavi, Maryam Rajavi, and the recycled formulas of Western powers.
- The unequivocal rejection of all reliance on foreign military strikes, invasions, or salvation scenarios from abroad, as such interventions reproduce domination, occupation, and tyranny — not liberation.
- The struggle to overthrow the Islamic Republic must be rooted in the self-organisation of the people — through councils, labour unions, grassroots and local movements — and grounded in the convergence of class-based, gendered, ecological, national, and generational demands, so as to prevent any seizure of power by alternative elite forces.
Let us move towards organising from below, reclaiming the terrain of power, and opening up the horizon of freedom and equality from within society’s own forces.
