نامه به سناتور گومرت و تاکید حزب بر حفظ تمامیت ارضی ایران

جناب آقای گومرت

حزب مشروطه ایران (لیبرال دمکرات) یک حزب سیاسی ایرانی در تبعید است که تلاش می کند تا درایران دمکراسی را ترویج دهد و سیستم حکومت دمکراتیک را بر پا نهد. حزب هم اکنون دارای شاخه ها، هموندان و هوادارانی در شهرهای فراوانی درسراسر اروپا و امریکا است که بیشترین آنها در ایالت کالیفرنیا و تکزاس هستند. درپیروی از اهداف آن، حزب مشروطه ایران تلاش خود را برمخالفت با احساسات ضد غربی نهاده که رژیم اسلامی آن را برای مقاصد نابهنجار خود به وجود آورده. درایران هواداران حزب مشروطه ایران روحیه بازنگری و بازگشایش با غرب را به ویژه در میان جوانان ایران که در زیرفشار همیشگی ماشین تبلیغات رژیم بوده اند گسترش داده اند.

شوربختانه از هواداران خود که در حوزه انتخابی شما زندگی می کنند در مورد موضع شما در پشتیبانی از حرکتهای تجزیه خواه و به ویژه حرکت بلوچستان آزاد سخنانی شنیده ایم. اطمینان داریم که پشتیبانی شما از گروههای قومی در ایران از خوش قلبی شما سرچشمه می گیرد ودر همراهی با ارزش ها و بنیادهای والای دمکراتیک شما است. با این وجود می خواهیم تا نتایج ناخواسته پشتیبانی از حرکتهای تجزیه خواه را متذکر شویم.

حزب مشروطه ایران (لیبرال دمکرات) یکی از اندک حزب‌های سیاسی ایرانی است که همواره حقوق گروه‌های قومی، دینی و دیگر را تأیید کرده است. درواقع حزب مدافع حقوق آن‌ها در تعیین مسیر خویش از راه برگزیدن نمایندگان محلی و شورایی خود بوده است. بااین‌حال با توجه به حس بسیار شدید میهن‌پرستی و وطن‌خواهی در مردم ایران و گمراه نمایی‌های رژیم اسلامی، پشتیبانی از حرکت‌های تجزیه خواه به‌وسیله نمایندگان قدرت‌های رقیب به شکل تداوم “مقاصد شوم غرب ” برای از هم گسیختن ایران متصور خواهد شد. رژیم اسلامی ظاهر فرشته نگهبان تمامیت ارضی ایران را به خود خواهد گرفت و این را بهانه‌ای برای سرکوب بیشتر جنبش‌های دمکراتیک و مدنی خواهد کرد. حتی در اینجا در ایالات‌متحده نیز دشوار خواهد بود تا جامعه ایرانی را متقاعد کرد تا نسبت به آن آزرده نباشند.

ما وقت گران‌بهای شما و خدمت مداوم شما را نه‌تنها به حوزه یکم و بلکه به کشور ایالات‌متحده ارزش می‌نهیم. از شما می‌خواهیم تا با شما دیداری داشته باشیم تا دیدگاه‌ها و آرا خود را برای ایرانی که تلاش می‌کنیم تا در آینده داشته باشیم با شما در میان بگذاریم، ایرانی رهایی یافته از یوغ رژیم اسلامی و در آینده به جامعه جهانی بر مبنای احترام و همیاری متقابل. سامانه ما می‌تواند بینش ژرف‌تری از آرا و ارزش‌های ما را نمایان کند.

The Constitutionalist Party of Iran (Liberal Democrat) (CPI) is an Iranian political party in exile that strives to promote democracy and establish a democratic system of government in Iran. CPI currently has branches, with members and supporters, in many cities throughout Europe and the United States; a vast majority of which are in the states of California and Texas. In accordance with its mission, CPI puts effort into countering Tehran’s anti-Western sentiment, which the Islamic Regime has created for its own ill-fated purposes. Inside Iran, our supporters (albeit clandestine) spread the spirit of rapprochement with the West, especially amongst the Iranian youth who are under constant pressure by the regime’s propaganda machines.

We regret to hear concerns from our supporters in your constituency with respect to your stance in support of the separatist movements in Iran, namely the Free Baluchistan movement. We are very confident that your support for ethnic groups in Iran stems from your goodwill and is complementary to your high democratic values and principles. Nonetheless, we would like to emphasize the unintended consequences of supporting separatist groups.

The Constitutionalist Party of Iran (Liberal Democrat) (CPI) is one of the few Iranian political parties that has always acknowledged the rights of ethnic, religious, and other groups. In fact, the party has advocated their rights to be active in choosing their community’s path by electing their own local officials and council members. However, considering the Iranian people’s strong sense of nationalism and patriotism as well as the Islamic Regime’s paranoia, support of separatist movements by governing representatives of rivalling powers will be portrayed as a continuity of ‘the West’s ill intent’ to tear apart Iran. The Islamic Regime will pose itself as the alleged ‘Guardian of Iran’s sovereignty’ and use this as a pretext to subdue further civic, democratic movements. Even here in the United States, it will be difficult to persuade the Iranian-American community to not feel resented.
